PAINTED
Dorotea choreographs and stars in PAINTED, the first film of a screendance trilogy looking at our tug-of-war with wilderness. (check out the sequel Brief Candle). In this dark short, we explore a building's decay and the fragility of the body. The choreography and original score both followed the theme of decrescendo to illustrate the building's retreat from the physical world, and Nature's advance on it.
Awarded Best Dance Film at the 2012 Fastnet Short Film Festival, and nominated for Best of Festival and Best Original Music.
